Rear wheels -19"x9.5 265/30zr-19- possible?
Hi all,
I was just wondering if the wheels as per dimensions on subject line would be suited to the rear of my 2000 A6? I would think about lowering the car too, so just wanted to know if the arches would clear when car is fully laden.
Many thanks.

I ended up going for the RS6 ones in the end.
Fly, I think it's because you've got the 4.2 with OEM 'flared' arches that you can manage such a wide tyre size (?) I've got a 2000 2.4 SE...

Before you do this be aware that all four wheel sizes need to match on a quattro. If they don't you will likely damage a $9,000.00 transmission.

understood on the sizes, but I have 18" in front and back, but the back one is wider. Is it ok to have wider rims in the back, but still the same diameter as the front?

but see thats what I dont fully understand. I see if you have 18" in the front and 19" in the back that it can mess up the transmission, but if the wheels are the same diameter (18" in my case) but the back wheels are a bit wider then the front, will this also cause a problem (assume they were put on and aligned correctly)
