Hey, just got my 2003 A6 2.7t Quattro S-Line.

For starters, what are recommended timing and serpentine belts, spark plugs, fuel filters, etc.

Thanks guys.

I obviously want to start tuning it up. My husband is very very car savvy so we never go to mechanics so we order all our parts. He hasn't worked on Audis in years and knows how things change as far as most recommended parts/ upgrades for vehicles.

Original parts are always the best. But for the timing belt there are numerous kits availble at ecstuning.

Sparkplugs go with NGK double platinum. Original Fuel filter have heard the other brands dont work or fit properly.

For timing belt, make sure to get proper tools including a cam lock bar and the crank lock pin. Replace cam seals and crank seal while at it.

I'm thinking they only made the S-line in 2004, but it doesn't matter - enjoy it. How many miles and we can make other recommendations? The parts you listed are normal maintenance, not tuning. He should also consider changing the differential and transfer case fluids. Brake fluid should be changed every 2 years. I won't address as tip tranny as I don't own one.

Got any photos? It could be the doing of the previous owner.

The main badge would be the ones on the rear doors:

And I think the trunk spoiler and sharkfin antenna came standard on all s-lines

Only thing is that your car is either a 2004 or the previous owner "s-lined" the car but if infact your car is 03 its not an sline
