refreshing automatic transmission fluid
That's kinda what I got out of the Amsoil heads-up, *when you finally flush, flush with the *same type fluid your going to use, to get it as pure as possible... it'll be quite expensive just in fluids..I guess I'll start stocking up for that 80-100K somewhere in the about 4 years the way I drive.
BTW, This thread will always pop up as long as Audi or ZF or whoever doesn't send a rep to the main Audi forums..how simple and helpful would that be? Maybe they should start learning how to communicate with owners on controversial subjects like this..many upper level companies already do this but as usual, the car companies are the last to -get it-.
You guys like jackmup who actually DIY on allot of maintenance, is there a way of getting a sample for analysis..seems like I read there's a bolt on the T Converter?

Round and Round
This conversation has gone around numerous times on this forum and the discussion is always the same.
As for me - at 225k on this Audi and close to 200K on my previous A6 without any trans problems - I'll not crawl under it for a transmission oil change but just continue to enjoy driving the vehicle.

otherwise you may log-in someday and see a big sign that says "ALL FORUM'S CLOSED, EVERYTHING HAS BEEN ASKED AND ANSWERED BEGINNING IN 1986, THERE ARE NO NEW ANSWERS OR QUESTIONS. GOODBY
Then someone would start a new forum asking why the other forums were closed?
The Transmission issue will always be a topic because of the _Lifetime_ conundrum.
NH: It's the nature of the beast (Forums).. topics will be repeated forever

LOL BUT BUT BUT MY question and situation is different than everyone else!! LOL
Everyone has been talking about a transmission from red and black Audis with stock interiors. MY Audi is blue with white pom poms hanging from the passenger visor, and it has pretty lights that blink on the rear plate.
I did a search and could not find what transmission fluid I should put in my pom pommed blue Audi with blinking lights so I thought someone could help me.
Should I use the green stuff that comes in a Mountain Dew bottle or the brown liguid from Coke?
Almost forgot the most important question -- should I change the air in my left front tire every 3rd Tuesday if it rains?
Thanks everyone in advance for your valued input.
All anwers will be given due consideration if my wife allowes me to use her computer again.
