Default replacing engines

Hi; I lost my 2.7t engine on my 2001 allroad; the car is automatic. I was able to find a good engine that is still on a car (read ended) the car is manual; would the engine still fit my car without issues; I heard that manual and auto engines are different; can someone please shed some light on this - actually much needed light on this.

Etka does show the engine to be the same p/n for auto or stick.

And the price on a reman short block at 3515.63, but each reman head is 1406.25 so the total would be 6328.13 for all 3 parts.

as Jeff above me pointed out, they are the same engine. Assuming the donor car is the same year as your car. Even so they should be the same but I would verify with the dealer if the years are different. Keep the donor car close by to have easy access to any last minute parts you may need.
