Default Replacing TRE, CV Boots

I'm about to replace the tie rod ends, and cv boots.
I think I've heard some clicking coming from the passenger cv joint.

If it is indeed damaged, do I need to replace both passenger and driver side cv joints?

Thanks.

If you only hear the clicking sound from the right side, just replace that CV joint. If the other side is ok, no need to replace it

Get a rebuilthalf shaft. The price is about the same as a new CV joint with labor to put it on the shaft and you get bothinner and outter new boots.

There are lots of posts about this do a search!
