Default Rims?

Does anyone know where i can find a replica set of RS4 rims. They are the 17 inch that are on the 2.7t s line . Or what rims do people put on it? I just put brand new tires on them and the tire shop informed me that all 4 were bent. They ride like crap but i cant blame the previous owner the roads in NJ are horrible :/ Thanks for your input!

I've been running Velocity 18" RS4 replicas (from www.purems.com) for four years with summer Contis. They still look good, but there has been a little paint flaking. During the last couple years I have seen ads for similar rims from different manufacturers for less than I paid. In these cases, google is your friend. Just get a guarantee that they fit your brakes and to be sure, try fitting them before mounting the tires. You have my sympathy with lower NY and northern NJ roads. It is a challenge to keep 17" or larger wheels from getting dinged or bent in those potholes and sunken drains. Just remembered, I think ecstuning advertises rims.

Cannot comment on the offset, but the brakes may be an issue. Best to call them and have that discussion. Also, you may need different lug nuts.

I talked to OE when looking for wheels for my 2.7t and they say that they do not sell any wheels to fit an Audi with the 2.7t or the 4.2v8 because of the larger brake rotors. You list two different Audis in your sig so if you are looking to fit the 04 s line they will not work but will with the 2.8. I ended up buying a set of MSW wheels from tirerack and they included the proper hub centering rings and the new wheel bolts in the selling price.

I had hub-centering rings on the aftermarket wheels that came with my A6. After a couple of tire rotations they had to be replaced and finding them was a challenge. Suggest you buy an extra set if you take this route.

I don't have any direct experience w/ replica wheels, but I've heard some horror stories about casting quality & fitment issues. This place sells `em: (http://www.modbargains.com)...but like I said, buyer beware.

However, if you want a reasonably priced set of aftermarket alloys that will fit your car...The Tire Rack. Excellent customer service...even after the sale.

I have 17'' BBS RC's that came on mine when I got it used. I had them painted a semi-gloss black and I love the way they look on the car.

...nice!

It's interesting how German-made alloys seem to fit Audis better. BBS, Rial, Borbet, ect....they always seem to keep the 'domestic' products in mind when designing wheels.

I, however, went the less expensive route...16"x8" "Sport Tuning T6's". Basically, a Chinese-made gravity-cast version of the BBS CH. Not a "replica wheel", per say...more of a loose interpretation of German styling.
