anyone ever heard of or seen Rondell wheels in person? if so, what are your opinions? thanks...

Looks sharp! Keep in mind the size, how it is constructed and of course the $$$$$. Larger wheels can mean bends (pot holes)and more expensive tires. Don't forget your performance as well!!! 18" are the most sensible. I have 19's which will take away from the cars performance a little!

the offset is 33 and the bolt is 5x112 but i got notice that they will not fit my front calipers. is there some sort of adapter that can be fitted. i will be using these on a 2001 4.2?

That is a good question to which I do not know the answer. I also have the large front calipers on my A6. I have a 35mm offset on my ADR's and they clear just fine!
