Default Rough idle

Hello everyone! So i have a Audi A6 C6 2005 3.0 tdi quattro s-line (no it's not an S6). I had a problem with my injectors, when stopping for a couple of minutes it would start "making clouds", so i went to a diesel service they tested my injectors and all of them turned out to be faulty. They replaced all of the injectors and then the rough idle problem started. When it cold starts it's just fine, after a little bit of driving whenever i stop at a red light or an intersection the rpms start jumping around from 900 to 600 or even lower, sometimes to the point where it almost stalls, but as soon as I give a little bit of throttle it stops jumping around(if i keep it pressed). I've read some forums where people have encountered this problem. What I've gathered from that is that there are 3 main possibilities: 1. I have to change the transmission fluid (makes no sense to me, but allegedly these engines are ify about their transmission) 2. I have to do a remap of the fuel map (Im betting my money on this, was brainstorming with my uncle and we thought it might be that the previous owner knew about the injectors but didnt want to fix them, so maybe he got a tune where the injectors would give less fuel at idle(when i changed them, the service people said that they are just dumping fuel in hence the smoke), so maybe now that the injectors arent faulty they dont give enough fuel at idle) 3. I have to check my vacuum lines, but I'm pretty sure if they were the cause i would see different problems as well, no?
It might seem that i have it all figured out, but I'm posting to see if anyone has had a similar problem and what was your fix. Currently im waiting for an OBD scanner which i ordered, planing on hooking it up to check the fuel map or if the car is giving any errors.
