Rset the oil Light in an 99 a6
Anyone know how to reset the oil Light in an 99 a6?
I changed my oil at 80500 and know at 81500 service light came on today I forgot to reset the oil reminder. Can anyone help with this its starting to bother me?

button A is the odometer under the speedo and B is the dimmer under the rev counter.
OEL-OIL service light
press and hold button A,
switch ignition on,
release button A,
the letters OEL or OIL will appear in the odometer display of the speedometer.
pull out button B until the letters are erased and replaced by *--*
that's the oil service light reset..
now the inspection service light.
press and hold button A.
switch ignition on.
release button A.
the letters INSP will appear in the odometer display of the.
if required clear the OEL-OIL indicator from the display as previously described
