Default Running cable from trunk to under dash...any advice?

"Installed" in my 2001 4.2 yesterday a USA-Spec iPod integration unit. Installed in quotes because the unit and iPod are velcro'd to the CD changer mount in the left trunk compartment (a quick albeit temporary solution).

Of course the next step is to run the supplied cable from the trunk to under the dash so that the iPod can go in the glove box or on a mount, and I can hook up my sat radio to the aux input.

Wondering if anyone has any tips / steps / cavaets for doing so, or is there something that I'm not aware of that I should have this professionally done?

Thanks in advance.

easy install .. take a hole saw bit and take ur glove box out of the car ... 5 bolts i think ... drill the whole and then run the cable under the molding next to the door sills ... the molding is secured by rivit type fasteners so just pry it up with a flat head screw driver ... and then the piece of molding by the front of the passenger side footwell is secured by 2 phillips screws i think... then pull the bottom of the back seat up and out and run it into the trunk!

easy
