Should I buy it ?? ( long story ..please read! )
thanks a lot for the input its definately under consideration.. i actually have a 98 civic hatchback right now that im going to b trading in..the trannys slipping..i def dont want to put ay money in the 106 hp pos.
Put it this way...the 4.2's fully loaded and optioned to the max ran 60k when new. To get a good one with service done, and in excellent shape will still run you close to 18k perhaps more. 8k for that ride and i would be running. I would buy a bus pass before picking that thing up.
Mr. Brown prolly refers to s**t BTW. There are always jokes in the business. I know,I worked in it for years.

I know how it is to want a car that just won't work out. My first car way a 1991 Potiac Grand Am and it never broke down in 2 years. It was just a point A to point B car. Liketeranenrique said just get a car that is relieable. I got my Audi after I had saved up for a while and worked and was about to back up any problems it had (so far none really) there was also the $3500 for the totaled Bonnivellethat helped a lot.and I also got it for college anda little bit after college so I will have this car for a while. Also quattros are good in the winter. Right now I would just geta car to get you from here to there and then geta nice one in a few years. Trust me the time will go fast
I too am 16 and I no how bad i wanted the Audi I bought. Luckily mine was in great shape (bought it from a family friend). I never spent any money cause i knew one day i would be buying a car that i actually would want to drive not some POS. So i fortunatly had about 5,000 left over after my purchase. But I must warn you with Premium gas and god forbid somethign breaks and you take it to the Audi Dealer to get fixed your gonna hafta fork over an Arm and a Leg to get yours fixed. But if you do get it the women will be all over you . Trust me
haha thanks guys.. i didnt buy the car some of your advice helped..alot. i still amd looking for an a6 tho.. theyre getting harder and harder to find.idk why when i was just browsing for cars when i wasnt ready to buy there were tons in my price range now theres none. but i gave my name and number to a whole bunch of dealerships and told them to look for some and if they get any in to gimme a call..was that the right thing to do..
Well here the deal, if the dealership offered a warrenty with it then do it...if not then dont...all they do is overcharge the stuff out of you that a6 probably has a theft recovery title and you would of had to go through the process of registering it legally....anyways....My first car was a 1989 Honda Civic 4 door $400.00 lol<<<by far one of my best cars lol....Cheap on everything. When something breaks their a dime a dozen of parts to be located....for a Audi...you better have a deep pocket like everyone said....I say get something you can afford..for now and when the right deal comes along then get it...
how often do things really go wrong with them tho.. i mean theyre a luxury car company why would they make cars tht will have a lot of problems in the future ? a whole bunch of kids in my school have a4's like 98, 99 ,00's and i see them every day with their car i never hear any of them say theyve had anything wrong with them..
