Should I Keep or Trade my 2000 A6 2.7t with 100k miles?
with the current state of the economy, I think this is the best time ever to buy a new car if you have the money. Dealers are desperate for selling any thing. I bought my car only about a year ago, now I'm doing the same research, and I see cars that were going for 15k now go for less than 10k.
I also have a friend who was a sales rep in a dealership and left due to how little money they're making.
I'm not recommending selling your car, but I'm recommending that if you're going to do it anyways, I'd say do it now when prices are really cheap.
good luck

I kept the car for 2 years and put on almost 30k miles. Pretty good decision I think. Some repairs since then but no catastrophies.
Now I have misfire code, (loss of power, jerking, sulpher smell, etc) and mechanic says its one cylinder misfiring. I am opting to just replace the one coil (about $500) rather than entire block of 6 (over $1200), one reason being that I also have a hole in the a/c compressor core which i did not fix since cold weather is just around the corner. I'm fairly sure this is the right way to go but please feel free to comment.
From here on out its minor repairs only and I will certainly sell it if anything major comes up. Lots of good deals on new cars now. Honda Crosstour 2010 new is only a little over 30k - not an Audi but this seems like good value.
Will post a picture in the for sale section.
