HI,

I'm new to the forum but have had several Audis over the years.

This relates to my 2005 A6

1) The fan has a mind of its own. You set it 3, or 4 (as example) and within a few minutes it's back to 1.
Why?

2) The navigation is pretty lame. It doesn't know many locations, and worse it sometimes sends me to the wrong location!

Do others have these issues? Can I do anything about the fan?

I love the car. It's reliable, fast, powerful etc but it has some quirks.
note: It's better than my '01 A6, with its self-propelled windows which go up and down of their own accord.

Is there anyone out there with thoughts on my questions??

1. take the HVAC system off AUTO.

2. Buy a new 2007 Nav DVD.

 

There have been several updates to the Nav disc as well as the MMI. Get both updated.
