Default spark plug recommendation

Sorry, new to the Audi site and this may be better on the A6 board:

Just got a 1997 A6 2.8 with 34K and never[/PHP] had new plugs. Can you help with proper plugs (NGK or Bosch). Dealer defers to recommend without a vin number...is it really that tough?
Appreciate some help here...driving at altitude, if that matters

Stick with NGK. NGK coppers are great at the cost of changing them every 10k.

Call an alternative dealer if you want help.
