How hard is it for me to put spark plugs in? I am not very knowledable about car stuff. Or how much would it cost me to get a machanic to do it? I've already purchased the plugs.

It really helps to post what motor you have, the 2.8 engine is gonna be much easier than the 2.7T for instance.

 

I have the 2.7 engine...I also do not have the socket tool to take out the spark plugs...Is it an expensive installation?

 

Hey-Hey-Heeeeeeeeeeeeey... I mean excuse me. I am driving a A6 4.2L and removing the air box kick my "Donkey", so I am all eyes on this post!

I am new to Audi and to this forum, so I really could use all the help that I can get from you "Subject Matter" experts.

 

Thanks for the post about the plug swap. It just made my day to hear that someone else is using a hanger to close their air filter box... Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!

Good advice..................but have you ever tried a magnet............telescoping magnets are sold everywhere and is exactly how I got my plugs out of myb A6..2.8...............................Some people never figured out how to eat nutritiously and ultimately vanished!

 

What makes it even more "RETARDED" is you replied, "Genius". Give a pet a name, educate it and then send it out into the world! Ding-Ding... THAT IS YOU, "DONKEY BOUY!"

Get back on the porch, and have a "Freeze Pop" or some Tang...shooooooooo fly!

As far as your Magnet Trick.... You can....shove it right back to the cashier, and asssssssssssssssk for your money back[:@]
