1998 audi with steptronic is actiing wierd, the shifter pops out of gear coming to a stop. I have to put it back in gear after I stop. Is this an audi trannie or a GM piece of crap like BMW uses? Has anyone had same experiences?

 

If your transmission is the same as my Tiptronic, then ZF made it. As for GM's auto trannies, they actually make some of the best autos out there for reliability.
