Default STFA: Cowl drain cleaning procedure?

I saw a brief write-up when I searched the forum, but wanted to clarify: Is there only one drain underneath the battery, or is there one on each side? And do I really have to remove the battery to get to it?
Is there also a write up with pics for the sunroof drain cleaning procedure? I saw one on Audiworld once, but it was for an earlier model; not sure if it applies to mine too...

Thanks!
Jeremy

There's one...

It is just about 9 yrs difference between my car and yours, but I doubt they rerouted the channels.
The front drain holes should "surface" on the door pillar, between the door hinges.
As far as for the rear drain holes, you should be able to see them in the recessed areas behind the wheel wells, in the trunk (you'll have to remove the side carpeting). The drain tubbing comes along the C-pillar and you should be able to see it as soon as you take the trunk side carpeting off.

good luck.

You like that??
Love the seats, every time I get in the car! I spend my time balancing between watching the road and peeking at the passenger seat! Just kidding...kinda
Question, though: Since the middle panel of the seat back is only attached at the top and bottom (AKA you can slide your hand behind the center portion and into the cavity of the seatback), do you feel the center insert "rubbing" against the side bolsters, almost feeling like a "popping"? Am I making sense??

Anyway, more on my original question: I took a look under the car, and I can only see one rear sunroof drain on the inside of the rear bumper. It's on the passenger side, and much smaller than the one I saw in someone's write-up.Is that accurate for the 04? I found the front drains easy, no problem.
On another note, I checked my Symphony manual for my radio code, and the card is still in the book, with no code! I called Adi of nashua, and he said if I can get the radio serial number off of the back of the radio and call him with that and the VIN, he can get me the code free of charge, vs. bringing the car to him and have him pull the radio for $58... So, as soon as I can do all that and pick up a speedo cable, drain cleanin' time!!
