Stock Sport Suspension / Lowering Springs

Stock Sport Suspension / Lowering Springs
Does anyone know if lowering springs will lower my 4.2 A6 anymore than the stock sport suspension? I want to get mine a little bit lower but I don't want to waste the money. Any help would be great. Thanks!

RE: Stock Sport Suspension / Lowering Springs
Coilovers are great if you're going to run the track and/or swap your wheels out on a regular basis, but if you're merely looking for better cornering and a more aggressive look just go with sport springs and shocks. Pick up the sway bars too and you'll still come in atabout half the price as the coilovers with a more pleasant cruising ride.
Ultimately you won't be doing a whole lot to the A6 as far as the track goes. She is a heavy car and not as agile as the A4/S4. With the4.2 focus on subtle, tasteful mods.
**edit -- check out these Koni Sport Shocks, H&R Sport Spring Set, and Hotchkis Sport Suspension Sport Anti-Roll Bars.
**edit #2 -- to actually answer your question... the above said setup will lower your front by 1.75" and the rear by 1.5" and that is with the sport package.
Thats my $.02.
Good luck!
