So once again I just bought my car(02 A6 2.7T) and went through the entire owners manual. Nowhere in the manual was I able to find a maintenance schedule for the car. I'm wondering if the turbo needs to be serviced at a certain point. Also is there anything that needs to be done on a regular basis for the turbo? One more stupid question why isn't there a boost gauge that comes on the car for the turbo?

 

alot of audi's do not come with boost guages, and there is nothing to service on the turbo's there are 2 on your car. Just change the oil regularly and there will help the turbo's last as long as possible

 

vast piggues will extend the life aswell

 

Use Mobil1 0W-40 or equivalent - clean oil with low viscosity (when starting) definitely prolongs turbo life. Change every 6-8k miles.
