Any ideas on what to use to clean/lube sunroof rails? Do I have to at all? I use it every time I get in the car...

 

The screw drive is lubed for life. The black plastic surfaces can be cleaned and lubed with Fluid Film, which is a lanolin based spray. A great product for squeaks and rubber gaskets, by the way--no silicone. Put some on a cloth and wipe until it is just a bit shinier. Too much of any surface treatment can actually attract dirt so don't spray on directly. This won't stain your leather but keep it off fabrics just in case.

I live in the NW and my roof is open except for extreme rain. Seat heaters and the low noise levels make this a real pleasure. I went over the foggy Golden Gate Bridge al fresco and it rivaled the experience of my motorcycle with just a bit more comfort. Enjoy.
