Default RE: Sunroof problem... and maybe realted trunk issue?

I just check the sunroof...and it has multiple stages....it it seems to be 5 stages so i think there is something wrong with the trac. and the motor is cable driven i believe. so dont try opening and closing to much more...because once something breaks there goese a whole new sunroof...anyways....
Check to see if there anything inthe trac. it could be something there thats lodging it from moving.
take a look at the trac see if anything out of place.

As u can see there is no problem with the motor because its in operating mode...meaing it moves the sunroof back and forth...

So check the sunroof trac watch it open and close on the outside.

Well I got home from work and took a good look at it and I cant seem to see anything that would be stopping the sunroof from moving. I also find it very weird that the switch is acting so funny. Maybe I need to take it apart. I need to get some torx bits so I can take it out. And then bend the contacts. Although that still doesn't make sense, becuase you would think that if the switch was bad it would still close if I used the key and held it in the lock position... too weird. In any case I need toget it closed. I have to take my car somewhere this weekend and I cant have a open roof!
