Hey all, I have a couple questions with regards to the suspension and control arms on my 2000 2.7T. First, can the factory suspension be compressed or stiffened manually? Second, I have a bad control arm to the front-right wheel - how do I tell which control arm it is? There are four arms. Will I just have to peel back the rubber fitings to look for wear? I get that rattling/knocking sound while turning and going straight when I go over bumps. Should I replace the same arm in the other front wheel also?
Any advice would be grand!

RE: suspension/control arm help
The factory suspension has no adjustment.
As for the control arms, you should change all 8 of them at once. It is expensive but as soon as you put two new ones on there the old ones will start to go, requiring twice the labor.

2nd Gear
do all control arms, you'll find the bad one though by checking the play in them...
Also you may ahve a bad tie rod end, inner or outer cuading trhe virbation and knocking.
Check those while you're in there messing with control arms
You'll need an alignment after replacement
