Default Sway bar link

'98 a6q 2.8
I'm finally replacing the control arms.
I bought the febi complete kit.

I've attached the original and new links.

Are the new links the correct?

I will have to remove that clip from the lower front arm in order for the sway link to connect.

Does this sound right?

Thanks.

I figured it out.
It is a new, updated sway bar link.

I like the Febi Kit. It seems to be good quality.

I have run into a problem though.

On the sway bar link, (the c shaped piece) the portion that actually connects to the sway bar is supposed to be torqued to 100 Nm.

Well, 100 Nm snapped the bolt and bruised my hand.
I knew it didn't feel right when I was torqueing it down.

So, how much torque should I use.
100 Nm is way too much IMO.

What to do?

Thanks.
