Sway bar end link
I decided to change my sway bar end links today and i cant get the sucker out. The bottom bolt comes out, slides out, fine but I cant remove the top one. What is the best way to remove the top bolt? I sprayed it with WD40, tried to push it out, then i got angry and hit it with a hammer and the think would not budge. Then i got even angrier but that did not work either.

if you plan on working on cars in the future, and you are the kind of person with a few extra dollars, buys a compressor and air tools. in this case, an air hammer will do wonders. not sure if your familiar with the pesky pinch bolts in the front suspension, but many times a sledge hammer wont get them out but the rapid motion of an air hammer will. if you wont buy a compressor and air hammer, then get an acetylene torch, which is more expensive, so buy a compressor and air hammer

A map gas torch kit is cheap at Lowes. That and a 4lb sledge work wonders on the pinch bolts, which typically are a bear. I imagine they'd make the end link bolt a non-factor pretty quickly. Get some real penetrating oil though, like Kroil (forget PB or Liquid Wrench), and soak it a few times over the course of a day or two, then go at it.
