i got my 00 A6 2.7t last week and drove her from milwaukee to Philadelphia and then up to NY with no probs

except while in Philly my rear blinker bulb blew out. get home to NY and replace it and its fine. next time i start up the car, my tail/brake light on the same side (driver) is out. so i replace that and everything is fine as of right now.

any ideas from anyone of whether this is just coincendence or some kind of short, bad ground, or wiring problem etc.? The wiring and assembly looks as normal as i can tell, although i probably couldn't spot anything subtle since im pretty clueless when it comes to wiring.

im only 10 bucks in the hole right now (knock, knock), and just wondering if anybody had similar experiences or thoughts on the subject. thanks.
