why are there different year tail lights? did the connectors change from 01 to 02? I have an 04 and I'm looking for some decent smoked clear LED lights for the rear like these...

just wondering why they have 99-01 lights listed...but not for 02-04. They are the same body.

Hey Ben,

There was a "facelift" on the C5 A6 in 2002, part of this facelift included changing the tail lights color from red to amber. This may be why they have those lights specified as 99-01, but really they should fit any C5 A6.

I actually was just about to put up a sale thread for A6 tail lights on AF, I have a batch of smoked tail lights I need to get rid of! If you haven't already ordered some let me know. Email, Phone, and AIM work great. Hope to hear from you soon!
