Hello!
I have a 99 a6 quattro 2.8

I getting a signal that my tail lights are not working...and they are not...I checked the bulbs and the fuses, they are all working....also I just replaced a brake light but I'm still getting the signal on my dashboard...
Does anyone have any idea on what's happening???
Please....I really need help...I have no idea...

have you any warning lights on the dash - -- is ur cruise control ok ? could be the brake switch

 

brake light switch does not affect the tail lights...
get a voltmeter and check for power at the socket. If you have power and the lights don't work you have a ground problem.
