Default tech question-4 ways coming on
I have a 02' A6 Quattro, recently when I accelerate from a stop the 4 ways light up(but don't blink), only happens in lower gears(automatic). Is this a sensor of some kind gone bad and should I worry about it?

not a ways light

his 4 way flashers are coming on (but not flashing) when he accelerates from a stop

I vote for a bad relay (switch in the center of the dash)

Hard to replace? Expensive? It needs to go in for servicing soon but would like to know if this is going to cost me.

I pulled the fuse to the four ways and it no longer comes on. Does this mean that it is in the relay?
