tech question - Transmission? Turbo?
I have a04 quattro 2.7t sline automatic with 75000 miles
When you drive at any speed an let of the gas pedal, it feels like it shifts down
Italso sometimes feels like the turbo is not working when you first take off, especially when you stop and turn the corner .Almost like a dead spot in the throttle . Almost feels like the tranny and motor are not comunicating in sinc
This does not happen all the time, but I can notice it more often. Is this normal for the 2.7t?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Thanks,
I just had the timing belt/ water pump and cam seals replacement and new front axle boots done at the 75000 2 weeks ago.
I picked the car up from the shop and it drove different and had a hard shift into reverse. Also my anti slip light was constantly lite.I took it back andthe tech hooked it up to his laptop and claimed that at one time the battery was disconected (which it was because of cleaningthe cables)which caused a DTC code 18265. The code was cleared and the problem seemed to has been taken care of when I drove off.
When they did a VAG scan is there a chance that they did not find or miss additional codes???In this short time could morecodes recently appeared??
After reading some other forums for this year, turbo lag seems to be a problem and common on this car? is there a possibility it could be something more simple? If I have to take it to the shop for another code scan, what canI expect time wise to scan for labor costs?
