Is there a problem here?

Default Is there a problem here?

OK guys, been lookin into this for a few months now and have decided to get a A6 2.7t (2002?). I wanna mod the car with the basics initially (chip, dp, dv, etc.) but also want to leave the opportunity to go stage III later. My first question is what year is the best for modding, if there is a difference?

Second if I do want to go stage III which Transmission is most advisiable for that amount of power?

In another forum someone said that the oil delivery to the 2002 was improved over the 2001/2000. Is that true? Will that make much of a difference?

Any help would be awesome.

2002+ will be better for overall reliability. (The improved oil delivery makes the turbos last longer.) And you'll want the six-speed to handle the power and it's more fun to drive.
