I am sorry to announce that my A6 was stolen while I was on vacation last week in Trinidad. The cop recovered the car after the little punks crashed it , now I am waiting to see what the insurance is going to do. I hope they totaled it but it don’t look like they will.

 

That sucks bro. I've had a car stolen before too. I still haven't replaced all of the cds! And insurace never covers those.

 

yeah i didn't even think about all the cds i lost. Can you believe they even took my son's car seat, but they didn't take my handheld gps unit in the glovebox.

Doh man! I am new to the Audi world, but it is clear that these cars are a lucrative target for theives / teenages. I guess it also depends on the 'hood' but how good the Audi's built-in alarm system? How easy it is considered to steal later generations Audi's? I have 05 A6 4.2. Thnx!

 

sorry about your car. My GN was stolen twice.
unfortunatly Audi did not start using tranponders
until after 2000. which makes them much harder to take
without the right key. so admiral, if they dont have
a programed key they are not starting your car.
