I'm thinking of buying an 04 A6 2.7T with 52k miles on it for about 8 grand. It has been serviced by dealership for the last 10 years. alternator replaced in 2014, also had brakes and tires changed in early 2014 with and other maintenance performed regularly. i don't know too much about audis aside from what ive read on these posts about maintaining turbo and making sure to get the timing belt changed before 80k. anything i should be looking for when i go to test drive it, any sounds or sensations i should be looking for?

i had a timing belt at 85k and the turbo is going dead. I got a 04 a6 2.7T S-Line. Nice car , sounds nice. I paid 3k for the car. Make sure the car doesnt smell like oil or burning when in park or stopped ( my 1st mistake ). If the engine makes some squealing when accelerating i would try to go cheaper by a good amount ( turbos are going ).
