I am thinking of buying an 2007 A6 CPO with 53k miles on it. I drove it and the transmission was not so smooth initially. It seemed to get better as the car warmed up. Is this something to worry about? Is there something I should check or should I not even worry about it since it is a CPO??? Is this common to A6's?

what do you mean by smooth? is it an auto or a manual? was it rough only in some gears rather than other gears?

audis are a very smooth drive, a 2007 shouldnt have any roughness to it really at all.

Are you even sure its a transmission roughness, could just be worn tires?

 

It is automatic. Tires are completely fine. It seemed only between first and second.
