Default Thinking of Buying

Hey everyone, I am looking at a 2001 A6 with 60K miles. Do you guys recommend this vehicle? What things should I look for, and what kind of things should I look out for?

What engine is it? If it's turbo, they wear out after a while.
Tie-rods are problems on Audis, and the timing belt should be replaced about now.
Other than that, the A6 is a great car. Smooth ride, great handling, and I get around 27mpg going 75mph.
Plus you get compliments all of the time.

True that, complimants are always a +. The A6 is truely a beautiful car! However, maintenance can be a little pricey.

MMMM turbos...When I bought my A6, I wanted a black, 2.7T, Quattro, 6-speed. I ended up with an Alpaka, 3.0, FWD, Tip (I got a good deal from my salesman friend). It's very pretty, but I would jump at the chance to get a turbo.
Get extended warranty if possible. When I got mine, I told them the only way I'll buy it was if they included a 90,000 mile warranty with the price of the car. This was total BS, but they went for it.
