I'm new to the A6 and noticed that the timing belt loks like an expensive maintenance issue. Does anyone have the tools needed that they loan or rent?

 

Do a search on timing belt in this forum and learn that you can rent the tools from Blauparts when you purchase their timing belt kit or purchase them from a number of sources.

BTW - it would be better if you gave a bit of info about your vehicle ie year - motor - etc
