Torque limit on A6 Tip tranny

Torque limit on A6 Tip tranny
I am thinking about getting an APR chip for my 04 A6 2.7t (tip), along with the recommended DV's and Bipipe upgrade. The APR chip will boost the torque to the high 300's, and I remember reading somewhere that the tip tranny is rated only for around 320 ft-lbs or so.
Anyone out there have any regrets about chipping with a Tiptronic?

RE: Torque limit on A6 Tip tranny
The tiptronic transmission has its limitations for power and torque, but 320 ft-lbs is a little low.
Now going over 350ft-lbs you may be asking for trouble. [8D]
An APR chip, intake, and a good exhaust is well within the power capability of the Tiptronic trans.

RE: Torque limit on A6 Tip tranny
APR torque curves show well above 350 ft-lbsin the sweet spot. I did a search on the A6 forum, and the consensus is that chipping an automatic is fine, with the exception of delayed downshifting when you punch it, (but putting it in tip mode solves that problem).
