Default Tranny drain plug seal

For those who have serviced their tiptronics-

What do you do with the drain plug seal?

It seems to be integrated and Audi sells it as unit - plug and seal.
Does anybody have a solution for the seal w/o buying a new plug?

(Or source for inexpensive plugs)

I sort of don't remember having a seal around the drain plug. If there was one, then it would have been a rubber o-ring(?)

It's not a rubber o-ring, but flat greenish washer-resembles the plumbing type of seal.
Located in recess between the thread and the head, smaller diameter than the thread, couldn't get off w/o damage.
Looks like it got shrunk after assembly,
I.ve got once a new plug for $20 cad, but there has to be way to reuse he plug with a new seal!

I reused the drain plug without putting a new seal on it and I have not had a problem (changed my trans fluid about 4 weeks ago).

Whenever I run into washer and miscellaneous item issue, I go pay a visit to my local hardware store. (Not a big box store like home depot, but a small mom and pop store) You can pretty much get any kind of washers, ball bearings and etc. Perhaps it is a fiber washer? Anyways, if you still have pieces of the old one, take it to a hardware store and see if thet have anything similar. I usually spend more money on gas driving to the hardware store than the actual washer.
