Ok Friends...I drive a 2003 A6 2.7T with the Tiptronic Transmission. A couple of days ago I noticed a small leak which at first I thought was motor oil on my garage floor. After taking a closer look under the carand smelling the fluid, it turns out its Gear Oil which looks to be leaking from the rear sealat the back of the transfer case. Can anyone tell me if they have attempted to change the rear seal here themselves and if so is their any special procedure for this or dropping the driveshaft? Thought I would give therepaira shot myself instead fattening up the "Stealer's" pocket. Thanks
