Default CVT transmission problems, 2003 A6, Need advice.

TCM and clutch are going bad in my 03 A6 (trans code GGP).

As far as I can tell, these are my options...

1) Find used TCM online, and pay mechanic for installation and upgrade to 7-plate clutch.
Estimated cost: $2500-3000

2) Buy refurbished transmission and pay mechanic for installation.
Estimated cost: $4000-4500

3) Buy used transmission and pay mechanic for installation. (No clutch upgrade)
Estimated cost: $2200-3000

4) Sell car as is.
Estimated salvage value: $1000-1500
EDIT: have offer in hand for $2500

What would you recommend? How are my cost estimates?

My car has 141,000 miles and is in otherwise good condition mechanically. I'd guess that it'd be worth something like $6000-6500 with a repaired transmission. Also, next year I'll need to have the timing belt replaced, so I could avoid an additional ~$1500 expense if I sold the car.

Thanks in advance.

Also, how do I find the part number for my TCM?
