is your guys' trunk heavy to open? I don't mean 100lbs heavy, just takes a little bit of a pull to open?

 

Possibly one of the gas charged struts is getting weak. New ones are $30 to $35 each at ECS... scroll to the bottom of this page...

You got that right. I just picked up a demo '07 A6 with 11K miles (therefore "new" and broken in) and this trunk's heavy. I was expecting Lincoln Town Car light, but this things hefty. My wife even complained how hard it is just to close the thing.So I guess it's the nature of the beast.
