Tune ups
Alright, sorry if this is basic, but this is my first Audi and I am still learning about it.
1) How do I get the engine cover off to change the spark plugs, and what plugs work the best with the car?
2) Is there any plug wires, or is the coil directly on the top of the plug?
3) What else should I do, I just changed oil, and air filter. The car has 100k on her.
4) Where is the fuel filter located and is there any trick to change it?
Thanks so much!

RE: Tune ups
there are four screw type heads on the plactic cover, just turn them and they will pop up, then take the cover off. each wire goes to an individual coil. Use NGK spark plugs, BKUR6ET-10, $5ea., and bremi wires $85. the fuel filter is a silver canister on the left side.
has the car had the timing belt/water pump done? at 100k miles i hope so. in not find an audi mech and get it done. if the belt goes while driving major engine damage possible.

Thanks, I will check out the belts, I don't know if they have been replaced or not. How often should they be?
Is that NGK plug a regular one or premium? $5 makes me think it is better then the normal one huh. Thanks again.

RE: Tune ups
you cant go chep on parts for audis. if you search the net you could find the plugs& wires a little cheaper but not that much. if you buy enough stuff the shipping is free. you could pick up air , oil filters for future use as well as stuff for now
the timing belt is a major service, very important. it is about a 6-8 hundred $ job.
i have those plugs/wires in my car now and it runs great, nice and smooth.
if you keep up the maintenance the engine can run for 200k miles easy.
