Default turbo whistle

ive noticed in my 2.7t 6spd when i start getting on it and then let off. i can hear the diverter valves a little but also the turbos have a kind of loud whistle after(atleast thats what i think it is).. like a slowing down or winding down whistle. is this normal?

Stock exhaust? Stock DV's? Auto or manual trans? Not sure what you mean by, "i can hear the diverter valves a little ". They do not/should not make a sound.

He is talking about the whistle of turbos... It sounds like your turbos are going out. What are the miles on your car? This is common 1-10k miles before the turbos go out.

Does it sound like a police siren? Is this a new sound after a mod? Are you new to the car and just not sure if the sound you have is normal?
You can't just say, "ya your turbos are going". Although, it's possible. Let's think positive here and try to get some more information to come up with a more practical conclusion.

I hear the same sounds... i'm glad for this forum, cause i have learned to love it... since i believe its the sound of the turbos. as was said before, it sounds like a dentist drill. however, sometimes its faint.. and othertimes when i am doing hard acceleration usually above 50 or so they're really loud.

Dentist drill is typically what a failing turbo sounds like. but hearign turbos especially with an intake is not abnormal either...
