I love leaving the car in 5th and accelerating from 35 just to hear the spool!!! I hope the turbos are fine, but sounds like they may be one the way out

Yea definitly no dentist drill, just a nice spooling sound coming from the engine, I have to turn the music down and roll the windows down to hear it though.

A spool is on thing.... a whistle is another. You can def tell the difference between the two. I have ko4's on my a6 and my friend has dying turbos on his s4. You can hear the spool loud and clear when i hit it. When he hits it all you hera is the turbo with a whistle. Ask any audi master tech at a audi store. That sound is NOT a sound you would like to hear. Spooling is waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy different than a whistle. Unless you don't know the difference between the two. I would say take it to a audi master tech and he will be able to tell you what is wrong very shortly.
