URO Coolant Expansion Tank Review
Maybe this is only my experience, but I will share my experience anyway.
I order an ÜRO coolant expansion tank from Rock Auto a couple of weeks ago. It is $16.60 plus tax and I was stoked to find one so cheap.
Should have known better...
First, I noticed that the quality of mold was pretty bad. There were many places where plastic burrs were left around hose nipples. Also I had to make sure the main coolant line nipple was clear. There was a piece of plastic burr that blocked the hole.
1 week later, it sprung a leak. Fortunately it was around the main nipple where the hose was being connected from a burr that I didn't completely shaved off. Okay that fixed after sanding the nipple smooth...
Now there is a slow leak from where the temperature sensor wire connect to the sensor. My theory is that the sensor is not full embed in the plastic housing and it is leaking.
One good thing about the ordeal is that Rock Auto is sending me a new one. Although I don't really have a trust in the product, I will give them a chance to make up.
