when i connect my vag scanner to my 2000 audi a6 2.7t automatic, it gives me a link error, everything is stock on the car, fuses are good, only wen i turn key into accesory, the check engine light and couple other lights dont show up, only airbag, epc and battery light shows up, is this normal??? and also what could cause this problem

 

Are you using the Ross-tech cable or a random cable off ebay?

If its the former, change the port setting in the options...

 

no its one of those proffesional VAG-Scanner, its not the one to the laptop
