BTW, you need cam chain tensioner tool if you are planning to do the tensioner. You can rent it from blauparts.

 

I think I am just going to replace the valve cover gasket this time around. Maybe I will learn more and be more comfortable removing the chain. I hope to tackle that job this weekend, I ran out of time last weekend. Thanks for all of the help and tips.

 

I changed both of the valve cover gaskets this weekend. It took 5 hours to get the job done. The driver's side took more work to get all of the bolts off. I think the car runs smoother because I also cleaned out all of the gunk out of the air hoses.
