I am driving an Audi A6 1.8T. It is a one year old car which has done 9700km. I realised that when it on at intremittent, the wipers vibrate violently and doesn't wipe the screen properly but the vibration reduces as I increase the rate of the wiper. I am new to Audi, pls help. Used to drive a BMW.</P>

Did you replace wipers on the car? You may need new wiper blades.</P>


Also, there is a wind deflector to help stablize / force it down towards windshield on the wiper arm. If you lost it or removed it, it will cause the wiper arms to "fly" at highway speeds due to wind...</P>


And finally, the spring in the wiper arm that pulls the arm toward the windshield is either missing / weak or off the hook... check those... there is nothing much else to it.</P>
