Default Vibrations (4.2)

I just bought an 07 CPO 4.2 and intermittently notice steering wheel/car vibration at very low speeds while turning. Reported it to the dealer tech when I was in this week but he basically disregarded it. Said maybe it's a due to a quattro quirk with the 4.2 engine????

Has anyone experienced this or heard of anything similar?....thx....

Bring it back and make them test drive it. Could you imagine bouncing a check on them and telling them maybe it's just a quirk with the economy.

At least have him elaborate on exactly what the problem is. CV Joints?

It sounds like you have the "Quattro rumble". It went away in my 4.2 after I changed the tranny and differential fluids. Audi's so-called lifetime ATF and differential fluids are really more like 30-35K mile fluids.
