Hi All, my car is 2000 Audi A6 quattro 2.8. When I turn off the engine. The warning lights are on (not flashing). These lights are front, rear and side lights. I worried about the battery, so I disconnected the wires from the battery. When I connected the wire again. The warning lights are ok. After driving once (no matter how long I drove), the problem comes again after turn off the engine. Can anybody give suggestions? what is this problem?

 

My 2.7t had a similar problem. Do you lock your car after you exit the car? It sets up the alarm system. My problem was water damage. The wires and alarm module were showing signs of moisture. I didn't want to drop the 4k to replace the whole system (which wouldn't even guarantee a fix) and took out the central locking fuses and now manually lock all the doors and trunk.
