So this is whats happened....about 2 days ago i installed a rear view camera into my 2000 a6 2.7t and then yesterday i hit a bump and BAM! my check engine and EPC light both come on so i check my owners manual and it says if this light comes on(EPC) call the dealer.....so i take a ride to auto zone and have them read the code p1171 it says it could be "open or short circuit condition" and problem causes "1. failed TPS 2.failed throttle drive electric motor or 3.failed throttle valve control module" the only thing i can think of on this is that audi and its stupid computers dont like the fact that i tapped into the reverse light wire for the rear view camera?? so if anyone has had a similar problem and could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
